Actually, were live at the federal courthouse and it was just here about an hour ago where nuru was sentenced. His attorneys had wanted night. His attorneys wanted 3 years. I should say he could have been sent into as many as 14 years in federal prison. It ended up at 7. Former San Francisco public works director Mohammed Nuru was sentenced thursday to 7 years in federal prison and a 35,000. Fine after pleading guilty to accepting more than a half Million Dollars in bribes and kickbacks. Prosecutors say over 12 years nuru betrayed the public trust by accepting money, trips and other goods and services from city contractors and developers in return for steering city business their way. Prosecutors sought 9 years saying nuru believed he was above the law and the lengthy sentence would deter other Public Officials from taking part in this level of corruption. New ruse attorneys called for a 3 year sentence saying extra years, dont create more deterrents. They also pointed out new routes,

Mad world, all the emotions. Simon loose as the burglars only made off with some change, but the damage and having to close the restaurant for repairs has been costly. And is really what bothers me. Without to get repaired, i can open for business and every day im not open was a lot of the video from the laundromat goes on to show the burglars handing off bags of stolen money. In a separate video, one of those bags is seen being dropped from the roof and exploding coins onto the sidewalk. The burglars are then captured walking through an alleyway. Well, a homeless man stands by one of the masked men gives them an some of the stolen money. The laundromat owner who did not want to talk on camera says crime in Little Saigon is getting out of hand.
