Legionnaires disease is a severe type of pneumonia. It can be found in water. Sources like cooling towers, a decorative fountains, lakes streams and hot tubs. People can get sick when they breathe in small droplets of water or accidentally swallow water that contains the bacteria. Not all people who are exposed to legionella developed legionnaires disease. Its particularly people that are older than 50 years of age. Underlying medical conditions such as lung disease. 3 people are currently hospitalized in napa county. One is on a ventilator and they say that you should get medical care if you have symptoms, including a fever, cough chills, or muscle aches. The problem is treatable with antibiotics. And then a hot 93 in walnut creek. 93 also in concord and those temperatures staying hot well away from the coastline. But you get back toward the beaches. But here we go again, the kind of cool out there, maybe some drizzle early on tomorrow morning. Temperatures hovering in the 60s with that fog at the coast. Cooling down a little bit as we head to friday. Again, the monsoon likely to roll back in a slight chance of a couple sprinkles. And then i think as we get into next week, we get a first real chance feel like fall. And were going to see some cooler air moving in on monday and tuesday.
