The hot dry weather is making the flames unpredictable. Resources are fading and the conditions are taking a physical toll on the firefighters. Chris martinez reports. Reporter about 100 wildfires are raging across 17 western states. Ive been in the fire service for 16 years. This is one of the worst years that ive seen.
