Ever since the Russian invasion of Ukraine started, people have been trying to flee to safety. In these dark times, a Ukrainian businessman helped evacuate orphans out of the war zone to the Turkish city of Antalya. In neighboring Moldova people are afraid the war could spread beyond Ukraine. And a theater play in Argentina addresses the trauma of war – 40 years after the Falklands War.
One in 4 young people under 24 are without a job. Inflation keeps driving up prices and going abroad to study or to travel seems like a distant dream for many. Unemployment rates are especially high in the Kurdish regions in the country's southeast. And then there's politics that's dividing the country. Karin Senz reports from Turkey.
Uighurs Turkey
Even after fleeing China, many Uighurs abroad still don’t feel safe. That s the case for Uighurs in Turkey. They re worried that China and Turkey’s extradition agreement could affect Uighurs in exile, and they fear they could be deported to China once Turkey ratifies the treaty and further expands its relations with China.

Less than one percent of Moroccans are Christians. And most church services used to be rather empty, with only a few believers sitting in the pews – most of them, elderly Europeans. But in recent years, an increasing number of Christians from African countries have migrated to Morocco. And before the Coronavirus restrictions limited attendance, church services were full, with several hundreds of believers.
