If You Could Be A Movie Character, Who Would You Choose To Be?

JStew: This is tough for me. I ve never really identified with the hero in most movies, but I have no real desire to be the villain. Like, I d love to be Johnny from Karate Kid/Cobra Kai. In the movie he was presented as kind of a jerk, and acted such, but think about it. He s actually the underdog in a way. Imagine if your life was going just great and some dude came along and just stole your whole world? I relate to Johnny way more than Daniel. Especially in the Cobra Kai show. So I don t know.. I guess I pick Johnny, and all the other villains who were simply provoked and misunderstood. Hahahaha.
What TV Show Theme Song Perfectly Describes Your Life?
A while back, we did a topic about your personal walkup music . as though you were an MMA fighter or something. Today, we wanted to know a TV theme song that perfectly sums up your life.. What would yours be?
JStew: One would have to be the theme from the show Barney . I ve always said, if I ever completely lose my mind in traffic, I m going to drive around hitting parked cars, and blasting the Barney theme out the windows as I cry/scream through my wake of vehicular destruction. Or, I think at this point in my life the theme from WKRP in Cincinnati might be more suitable. God I love that show. It s like spinal Tap for radio people. I m not sure how M A S H would fit in, because I m not remotely a doctor. But I ll take a look!

JStew: You can call it an unfair advantage if you want, but I worked in the restaurant business for a good portion of my adult life before radio. Even during radio when I was just a wee part-timer. In restaurants, you definitely would generally never have the time of the space to cook bacon anywhere but the oven. At home, I ve tried cooking bacon in all manner of pans on the stove top, but because I ve always found the oven to be faster, cleaner, and made time for me to do other things simultaneously.
Here s my trick. Preheat to 425 degrees. Cover your pan completely in foil, even over the edges. Layout the bacon and cook for 10-12 minutes (depending on thickness) and then drain the fat. I save it in a can by the stove for future uses. Pop it back in for 3-5 more minutes, and done! Use these same tricks for convection ovens or air fryers as well. And when you re done, roll up the foil, and chuck it in the recycling bin! No mess!
Boy, we sure opened a can of worms today! We posed the question online, and during the I-95 Morning Show, is Bruce Willis s iconic movie Die Hard a Christmas movie? For you, is it a HoHoHo, or a NoNoNo?
JStew: While I m absolutely willing to jump on the bandwagon that Die Hard could be considered a Christmas movie, I don t have a dog in this fight as big as Cori s. I m pretty sure Cori is almost ready to fist fight over whether or not this counts. Me? At this point, I m ready to just eat popcorn and watch everyone else argue it out. Ha!

JStew: I think the thing I dislike the most is just the unpredictability. In the summer time, unless you re dependent on an activity being held outdoors in the sunshine, most things can be converted to indoors. But winter time has this amazing ability to just ruin everything. Oh, you had plane tickets for a trip? Well, let s just go ahead and cancel that because of snow. Oh, you had tickets to a big rock show in Portland? Nevermind! Mother Nature decided you needed to stay home and watch more Schitt s Creek re-runs on Netflix. That s what I hate about winter.
