Dr. Karen Weekes, a sports psychologist from Kinvara, Co Galway, has become the first Irish woman to row across the Atlantic solo. Dr. Weekes, who wants to inspire girls and women, arrived in Barbados after an 80-day trip that began in Gran Canaria.
