The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking bids to farm 210 acres within the Bellrose Waterfowl Reserve (Bellrose) which is part of Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge. Cooperative Agriculture is used at Bellrose to achieve waterfowl management objectives by providing habitat and supplementing natural food resources throughout the waterfowl migration. As a result, this farming program requires that agricultural crops be planted, cultivated, and harvested in accordance with Special Conditions for Farming (
Attachment 1) and other requirements described below.
