Given the multiple challenges of the pandemic, continuing work on the district’s strategic plan, and ongoing efforts at the state and local levels to control what and how teachers teach, it is critically important that we consider experience and continuity in selecting board members. With six years of service, if reelected, Kelly McConnell will be the longest-serving member of the Hanover board. Her tenure also exceeds that of every single administrator in SAU 70.
