Recently, Project Legacy donors were invited to a spring celebration via Zoom. It was an inspiring hour of stories, connection, and hope, featuring six amazing young people who shared their journeys to building a better life. Kudos to Sen. Dave Senjem for being there to listen to and cheer them on!
This amazing non-profit empowers youth disadvantaged by poverty, racism, homelessness, trauma or addiction. Case managers work with them to develop a positive plan for the future – a legacy – all the while supporting them with access to education, therapy, legal assistance, substance abuse treatment, and job-placement help. This is not solely service, but kinship – walking together and learning from one another.
