The country’s largest gathering of concertmasters and principal players from the nation’s top orchestras will once again come together in San Diego June 15-24 as the Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra Festival celebrates its 35th season. Under the baton of Maestro Michael Francis the festival will return to the open-air Del Mar Surf Sports Park and will expand to two new festival venues: the Conrad in La Jolla and UC San Diego’s Epstein Family Amphitheater. Featuring musicians from more than a dozen top U.S. orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Dallas Symphony, National Symphony, Atlanta Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestra. The festival opens its ‘Del Mar Week’ Friday, June 15 at the open-air Del Mar Surf Sports Park.
