In an open letter, The Musicians of the Philly POPS said their management company owes them - and patrons - a 'clear path forward' after concert cancelations.
After losing its longtime home and having to reschedule recent performances at the last minute, the orchestra has named a new president and board chair.
The Philly Pops has postponed its two concerts that were scheduled at The Met on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. New dates and locations for "Get Up, Stand Up: The Encyclopedia of Soul" have not been announced. The cash-strapped orchestra had moved the shows from Verizon Hall after it was evicted from the Kimmel Cultural Center earlier this year.
