Philippines AIMAG Chef de Mission says postponement will benefit athletes

Richard Lim, Chef de Mission for the Philippines at the upcoming Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG), has backed the postponement of the event and believes it could benefit the nation. Earlier this month, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) moved the AIMAG from May 2021 to March 2022 because of the coronavirus crisis. Lim, who is also Karate Pilipinas Sports Federation President, backed this and said athletes focus would now turn to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where possible.
