At a recent Adda in Mumbai, filmmaker Karan Johar spoke on the film industry facing trolling, viewers returning to theatres and creative people being fearless.
In a conversation at Express Adda, Karan Johar opened up on OTT platform's impact on theatres and revealed how the streamers aren't willing to pay big bucks based on an actor's star power and are more focused on content.
Speaking at The Indian Express Adda on Monday evening, the director-producer denied there was any fear prevailing in the entertainment industry. “Creative people are not afraid. They are not afraid to tell the stories they want to.We are sensitive, not afraid,” said the 51-year-old filmmaker.
Karan Johar revealed at the Express Adda that he had developed the bond between Rocky and his mother in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, but those scenes got "sliced at the edit table".
