Turkey s Ronesans Holding signs MoU to build airport terminal, power plants in Libya - report Deal, business, corporate contracts
ANKARA (Turkey), April 19 (SeeNews) - Turkey s Ronesans Holding has signed several memorandums of understanding (MoU) with Libya to build a new international terminal at Tripoli airport, Istanbul-based media.
The MoU also envisage the construction of three power plants and a shopping mall, Daily Sabah said in a media report last week.
Turkish power plant operator Aksa Enerji has also signed a power plant construction agreement with the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Daily Sabah said.
According to the media report, Turkish companies are in talks with Libya s United Nations-backed legitimate government, the Government of National Accord (GNA), to meet the urgent need for electricity in the country.
