College of Southern Maryland (CSM) students who have chosen to pursue careers in health care were celebrated Thursday, Jan. 11 at the Health Career Readiness Recognition ceremony.
Dr. Robin Johnson, medical director for El Paso County Public Health, will leave her job at the end of the year, saying her future plans include “continued upstream health efforts.”

According to the CDC, 70 percent of decisions doctors make when caring for a patient are based on the results from these tests.
