Bracing the upcoming assembly elections in the state of West Bengal, Union Home Minister and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah launched the fifth âPoribortan Yatraâ (rally for change) in in Kakdwip of South 24 Parganas district.
Shah said that if it comes to power, BJP will provide more than 33 per cent reservation to the women in West Bengal.
âIt is not our aim to only bring BJP government after removing Mamata Banerjee s government. Our goal is to ensure that there is a change in the situation in West Bengal, a change in the situation of the poor of the state, a change in situation of women of the state,â said Shah.
