TRIBUNBATAM.id,YOGYAKARTA - Hail phenomenon at several points in the city of Yogyakarta was confirmed by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Department (BMKG).
Head of Sta. Klim. BMKG, Reny Kranintyas conveyed that hail was observed in Yogyakarta City and Kapanewon Turi, Sleman Regency.
He explained that hail occurs because of a warm, humid and unstable surface on the earth s surface.
