Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Teodelyn Reyes had just arrived from Saudi Arabia last January when he accidentally left his wallet at the NAIA Terminal 2.
Among those inside his wallet was $3,700 or ₱180,000 in cash. PCG officer Denrieve John Sajili was making rounds in the area when he found the wallet.
He immediately turned it over to the airport lost and found section, which later noted that the wallet contained a large amount of the money. ”Sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa Philippine Coast Guard lalo na kay Sir Denrieve John Sajili sa pagkakapulot niya ng akin wallet (I thank the Philippine Coast Guard especially Sir Denrieve John Sajili for recovering my wallet),” the relieved Reyes said after the item was returned to him.
