No, i was not there, neither were you, but it is fair to assert that salem, massachusetts did not actually have infestation of witches. What salem, massachusetts had was a really unfortunate panic about a civic hysteria, and to remind us of that, we as americans have this really commonly used phrase, in modern american english, the phrase witchhunt. We all know if theres a witchhunt under way, it is not like saying rabbit hunt or bear hunt or manhunt, it doesnt apply theres a witch out there, thats the person for whom you are legitimately hunting. The idea of a witch hunt is that there isnt a witch. Theres a self serving exercise maybe using the specter of a witch, but thats just used to excuse your own self serving hysteria. Thats what witch hunt means. This is not an obscure thing, not about witches, paranoid self serving group hysteria. We are clear on this. This is an everyday household word thing. We all get what witch hunt means, right . Right. Then they would try and explain the

Isis has now released a new video that is not another beheading video, thank god, but it is plainly aimed at an american audience. Its 52 seconds long. It appears to be a trailer for a longer video of some kind, but we dont know that for sure. What they have released is this 52 seconds worth of propaganda video. It is propaganda, but in terms of its news worthiness, it is worth seeing because it shows what theyre capable of in terms of their skill in producing a message about themselves but also gives some information about what strategically they are trying to get americans to feel. But if you look at what theyre trying to accomplish with this video, you can sort of see their strategy in terms of what they want from the American People and the american government, how they want us to react to them.
