The Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) and the Community Development Department (JAPEM) yesterday received 15 units of computers each contributed by the Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC).
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin was present at the handover ceremony at the DBP Library in the capital.
DBP Acting Director Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab and a representative of the Director of JAPEM received the computers from BMC Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Kaneshige Kubushiro.
Suip expressed gratitude for the contribution, saying it would surely benefit the local community, particularly library users.
