This year, the state government has decorated the 'Jaystambh' with images of the Constitution of India with the caption "Bhartiya Samvidhanache Amrut Mahotsavi Varsh” (platinum jubilee year of the Indian Constitution).
Along with tight police security, arrangements like free buses from visitors, drinking water tankers, health, medical and sanitation facilities, fire tenders, ambulances, were in place.
