Uday Kumar, a 35-year-old amputee with a 91% physical disability, has set a new world record by climbing Mount Rhenock at 16,500 feet in Kanchenjunga National Park, West Sikkim. The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) organized the expedition, which defied odds and faced unpredictable weather conditions. Kumar became the first amputee to unfurl the largest Indian flag, measuring 780 square feet, atop the mountain.
