Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday gave a 48-hour ultimatum to the state government to take action against Sharjeel Usmani, a former student leader. As per a complaint filed by BJYM leaders, Sharjeel Usmani allegedly made defaming statements on the Hindu community during his address at the Elgar Parishad conclave in Pune on Saturday.
