A joint meeting of regional committees of Assam and Meghalaya decided to find ways to achieve a permanent solution to border issues at Langpi in the Kamrup district bordering the West Khasi Hills.
A joint meeting of regional committees of Assam and Meghalaya was held on Monday in Guwahati to find mutually acceptable solution to the border disputes between the two neighbouring states. Minister of Environment & Forest and Guardian Minister of Kamrup Chandra Mohan Patowary and his counterpart Cabinet Minister of Meghalaya and Chairman of regional committee for West Khasi Hills Paul Lyngdoh led both the regional committees.
