THOSE living along the coastal areas of Klang district that are at risk of flooding will be given training and knowledge to better prepare them in case of disasters.
CLEAR skies and warm sunshine saw the high tide phenomenon peak at 7.45am on Tuesday (Sept 13) along Klang’s coastal areas which occurred without any untoward incidents.
COASTAL areas in the Klang district saw rising waters that reached 5.5m due to a high tide at 5.21am on Thursday (Nov 4) as forecast but fishermen and locals living along the coast heaved a sigh of relief as the tide did not coincide with the North-East monsoon rains.
