PETALING JAYA: The Nabawan district in Sabah will come under movement control order from March 3 until March 16, senior minister for security Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced.
This follows the health ministry reporting a spike in cases involving clusters in the district, with high infection rates.
The health ministry said there was a total of 177 positive Covid-19 cases involving 15 villages in the district as at Feb 28.

In a statement, Ismail also said the Felda Jengka 1, Felda Jengka 2, Felda Jengka 7 and Felda Ulu, all in Jempol, Maran, Pahang will go under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) starting from tomorrow until March 15.
