The yatra will enter the state from neighbouring Nagaland at Haluating along the interstate border, according to the proposed route released by the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee
Rahul Gandhi s Assam leg of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will cover 17 districts and 833 km. The yatra will enter Assam from Nagaland and proceed to Majuli, Kamalabari, Aunati sattras, Jengraimukh, and Dhaukuakhan. Gandhi will hold roadshows in Lakhimpur, Bishwanath, Sonitpur, Nagaon, and visit the Borduwa Sattra at Batadrava.
The state government has taken up a number of projects to boost road connectivity and bridge building in rural and far-flung areas. However, it is also a fact that such projects fall short of reaching.
