Bahrain Transport Ministry HQ on track for H2 completion
MANAMA, 16 days ago Bahraini officials said more than 58 per cent of the work has been completed on the headquarters building of the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications coming up in Muharraq and will be ready in the second half of this year. Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf and Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed yesterday (March 10) paid a visit to the project site to see its progress. The ministers witnessed the construction and finishing works of the building, including civil works and electromechanical connections in the various floors of the building, the installation of the structure of its exterior glass façade and the building s substation which is about to be completed, said the statement from the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning.

The delegation comprising Minister of Transport and Communications Engineer Kamal bin Mohammed and Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani was received by Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), one of the UAE’s leading financial institutions. Kamal Mohammed said the visit to the UAE comes following the directives of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
