A Boonville man is facing multiple felonies, including attempted murder after an incident in January.
On January 3, Boonville Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 1300 block of Main Street.
The suspect, 27-year-old Kalynn Dean Hendren is alleged to have pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to kill her. While fighting over the gun, Hendren allegedly fired the gun. Officers found the spent shell casing, and the bullet fragment in the living room.
Hendren is charged with Class B Felonies for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and Domestic Assault in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action. Bond is set at $500,000 cash or surety.
Bond has been set at $500,000 cash or surety for a Boonville resident who has been charged with felonies.
According to a release from the Boonville Police Department, it served a warrant to 27-year-old Kalynn Dean Hendren who already was in custody at the Cooper County Detention Center.
According to court documents, Hendren is charged with Class B Felonies for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and Domestic Assault in the First Degree; and an Unclassified Felony for Armed Criminal Action.
Conditions of bond include Hendren to have no contact with two persons and not be on the premises of a residence in the 1300 block of Main Street.
