State Fair Community College sophomore first baseman Alexis Gilliland went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI last Saturday in the Roadrunners’ 7-3 loss to Three Rivers Community College in the first round of the NJCAA Region XVI Tournament.
SFCC Adds Seven To Softball
The State Fair Community College (SFCC) softball season is scheduled to begin in February; however, Lady Roadrunners Softball Head Coach Lyndsey Talbot has already begun to work on her 2021-2022 recruiting class.
Talbot recently announced the addition of seven student-athletes who have all signed their National Letters of Intent to attend SFCC and play softball next fall.
Angelina Curtis is an outfielder at Skyline High School where she plays for Coach Shawna Bybee.
“Angelina is a multi-sport athlete with pretty good speed,” said Talbot. “Angelina is an athlete who has always played multiple sports, so I am excited to watch her develop when she can focus on a single sport - softball. Skyline has always been a good program. I love getting kids from good programs.”
