An unseasonably chilly start to May would normally have people across the UK and Ireland booking holidays to sun soaked-resorts, where they can stretch out on the beach and sip on a Margarita while watching the waves.
For those who feel safe and confident enough to go abroad, there will be the opportunity. From 17 May, people will be able to take holidays in “green” countries without having to isolate on their return, although they will need to take a Covid test before and after their trip.
