The Topeka Capital-Journal spoke with Topekans in each quarter of the highly anticipated AFC Championship. 1st Quarter “They could do better,” said Angie Fisher moments after a Chiefs fumble helped the Bills score their first touchdown. Fisher, who watched the game at Skinny’s Sports Bar, said she was relieved when she heard that quarterback Patrick Mahomes would play in Sunday’s game. Mahomes suffered a concussion last week and was only cleared to play against the Bills on Friday.  The Chiefs are looking to become the first back-to-back champions since the New England Patriots won Super Bowl 38 and 39 more than a decade ago. The Chiefs will play Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the championship.
