there, not something you want to wake up to another deck tree was down in east berkley. this one on claremont avenue. you can see the tree fell on some wires as well. the viewer sent us this picture says the tree actually cut off power to everyone on that street. and there are plenty of people still without power tonight. this is a live look at outages from pg and e much better than yesterday. but a few areas around the bay still in the dark tonight at last check, more than 7,000 customers do not have power. most of them, as you can see in this map and the east bay. but outages are are pretty scattered. that yellow, those yellow block signifying some 52 as many as 500 customers without power. now, the storm also forced roads to close in san ramon, a portion about costa boulevard has been reopened after being completely closed overnight due to some flood damage. the westbound number 2 lane, though, remaining closed for further inspection tonight. portions of the nearby golf co

moisture up over the mountain tops and it s produced tremendous amounts of rain in the urban areas. not much just yet, but the main event still to come tonight, we ve seen those winds picking up in the afternoon. some gusts of 30 40 miles an hour, even some 50 mile an hour gust over the mountain tops up toward the golden gate bridge. some slick roads out there right now. little bit of fog to but check out the rain totals these past 24 hours and that air is lifted up that very warm, moist, subtropical air almost 5 and a half inches of rain now over mount tam timber on inch and 3 quarters. oakland hills, almost 3 inches of rain. alameda, you ve got to over an inch and a half in moment again over the mountain tops almost 3 inches of rain and then you get down to the urban areas and just can squeeze out as much moisture. still over half an inch of rain in san francisco. so flood watches have been posted a as we re going to see that heavy rainfall event through tonight and tomorro
