The AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea, the first property under the AC brand in Hawaii, is scheduled to open April 29.

After a brief delay for pandemic-related preparations, the AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea, Hawaii s first AC, is slated to open in late April.
The four-story, 110-room hotel features a business center, fitness area and infinity-edge pool along with other amenities across three acres. Kaleo Kenui, who serves as the general manager for both AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea and Residence Inn Maui Wailea said the Valley Isle resort area was the ideal spot for the first AC-branded property in the Aloha State for several reasons.

A new 110-room, 12-suite hotel will open in April in Wailea.
The AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea was scheduled to open this month, but was delayed to allow more time to adjust to COVID-19 protocols, said General Manager Kaleo Kenui.
“We decided to delay the opening of the hotel so our team can take the time to adjust the hotel’s public spaces to reflect recent social situations and train our team on new safety cleaning protocols,” he said last week.
