Farmers of tur, urad, and green gram in Kalaburagi district will receive interim relief for crop loss. The District Level Grievances Committee has recommended mid-term crop insurance for tur farmers. The state government has released Rs 100 crore for this purpose. Tur farmers will receive Rs 6,000 to Rs 7,000 per hectare as interim relief. Urad and green gram farmers will also receive insurance. The payment process has already started, and every farmer will receive interim crop relief within 15 days.
