The bloodshed remarks made by the Kajiado South Member of Parliament Katoo Ole Metito at the weekend during a visit by the deputy president has brought mix reactions in the county.
A section of Kajiado county leaders has urged the government to investigate Katoo over what they termed as careless utterances.
The leaders who have held a press conference at Ongata Rongai hit at Metito saying residents will choose their leaders without coercion.
Addressing a huge gathering at Kiserian where he accompanied Deputy President William Ruto was, Metito said Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku has telling meetings in rural Maasai land that the seat will be defended even if blood will be shed.
