A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a Pocso court in Noida for raping an 11-year-old girl in Ecotech 3 area in 2020. The survivor's father filed a police complaint on the same day. The court relied on witness testimonies and medical reports to convict the accused. The convict has been fined Rs 50,000, which will be given to the victim under the victim compensation scheme.
