At least 400 foreign climbers are all set to attempt to climb the world’s highest peak from Nepal side in the spring season, according to expedition organisers.
Elite Iranian climber Andrew Aziz (Amin Aziz Nia) has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first Iranian man to climb Vinson Massif, the highest peak in Antarctica, which stands at 4,892 meters (16,050 feet).
A mountaineering company has covered the costs of the rescue of a climber on Mount Qomolangma and has called on netizens to stop bullying her online after she was accused of refusing to pay the full cost of her rescue, which took place some 8,000 meters up the mountain.
