Works by Toronto-based artist Eleanor Lowden and Kitchener-Waterloo’s Stephanie Fehrenbach are included in the exhibition titled The Bright Side at Westland Gallery until Aug. 7.

“When we are surrounded by negative and distressing headlines, it can be an understandable challenge to keep a positive outlook,” said Danielle Hoevenaars, associate director of Westland.
“At times, we all need something to uplift and invigorate us with a boost of hope, colour and creativity. Art can provide that renewed wind under our wings. In our latest exhibition, painters Fehrenbach and Lowden offer us just that, and invite us all to take a walk on the bright side.’”
