Vacaville couple welcomes Solano’s first baby of 2021

VACAVILLE Solano County’s first baby of 2021 made her debut 71 minutes into the new year at Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center.
The parents of Ma’ave Seata Loi-On Va’i, Andrew Va’i and Levalasi Loi-On, talked on the phone Friday about their 2021 gift, a baby girl who weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 inches long.
“We did have a perfect new year with a new blessing,” Va’i said.
Solano County’s Covid case count tops 15,000

FAIRFIELD Vacaville accounted for more than a third of the new Covid-19 cases reported in Solano on Friday as the county surpassed 15,000 cases.
Vacaville had 103 new cases to take its total to 3,310, an increase that pushed Solano County’s count to 15,008, the Public Health Division reported.
