Kaiser Permanente’s New Mobile Health Vehicle Increases Access To Medical Care In Rio Vista
A new mobile health vehicle traveling to Rio Vista twice a week is providing Kaiser Permanente patients with easier access to routine health screenings and other preventative care.
The mobile health vehicle is 40’ long with two exam rooms and operates like a mobile medical office. Services include primary care, flu shots and other vaccinations (excluding the COVID-19 vaccine), as well as health screenings. Clinicians have access to Kaiser Permanente’s electronic health record system allowing them to update patients’ medical records.
