Coronavirus patients in Estonia who have recovered are still experiencing health problems six months later, researchers and doctors from the University of Tartu, Tartu University Hospital and South-Estonian Hospital have found. At the third- and sixth-month follow-up, more than half of patients reported experiencing health concerns, although their routine analyses were fine. In the third-month follow-up, the main complaint was a decrease in physical exercise capacity. By the sixth month, the number of patients with complaints had increased and problems with joints were added to the decreased capacity to exercise. Fatigue and a lack of sense of smell were reported.
