The Covid-19 testing centres in Rotorua and Taupō are open every day this week.
Lakes District Health Board said their testing stations at Kahukura Rugby Club on Pukuatua St and at 79 Miro St in Taupō would be open every day from 9am to 3pm for anyone wanting a test.

A queue of cars built up at the Covid-19 testing station at Rotorua s Kahukura Rugby Club this morning.
About 20 cars lined up in the club s car park on Pukuatua St as Auckland returned to alert level 3 and the rest of the country to alert level 2 after the discovery of three new community Covid cases.
Rotorua s Jamie Adlam was at the station having a test as his girlfriend had returned from Auckland where she had visited one of the places of interest.

A controversial meal service for the homeless has been given a new home in Kuirau Park following complaints from Rotorua Central Mall. The service feeds up to 200 homeless people daily from 5pm and sees those in need go to a drop-off point and collect a container of food cooked or collected by a local trust.
