KOLHAPUR: Bodies of three tourists, who had come to the Radhanagari dam for sightseeing, were found floating in the backwaters near Olwan-Bhatwadi vil.
Four people, including two from Athani in Belagavi district, drowned in the Vedaganga River near Kagal in Maharashtra. Police sources said that at this time, two people slipped and fell into the river. Two others rushed to the rescue but drowned. Reshma Yalamale, 34, Yash Dilip Kamble, 17, from Athani in Belagavi district, Jitendra Vilas Lokre, 36 and Savita Amar Kamble, 27, from Maharashtra are the deceased. A case has been registered at Kagalpuri police station in Kolhapur district.
