A combined team of security operatives made up of the Army, Air Force, Police and Department of State Services, DSS are combing the bushes in search of 30 students still missing after armed bandits attacked Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka in Igabi local government area of Kaduna State late Thursday evening.

Armed bandits killed an 80-year-old woman, a ward head and three other locals in attacks on Kaduna communities.
The incidents, which happened at three different local governments, saw five people dead and three locals injured.
The Kaduna Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the killings in a statement on Sunday. He did not disclose the exact days the incidents occurred.
He said security agencies reported the killing of the woman in Sharu village, Igabi Local Government Area, to the Kaduna government.

Suspected bandits on Saturday night killed about 14 villagers in Kaya, a village in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, when they attacked the community.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. when the bandits, said to be on a revenge mission, stormed the small village killing the victims and setting vehicles ablaze.
A resident of the community, who simply identified himself as Suleiman, said nine people sustained injuries.
According to him, earlier on Friday, some vigilantes in the community killed some of the bandits who attacked a neighbouring village.
