A week after the shooting outside Whitmer High School's football stadium, area high schools wore orange at Friday football games in a unified show of support.
Superintendent Kadee Anstadt said some kids are struggling with skills like problem-solving, collaboration and empathy after returning from the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It's a beautiful space where all kids will have their needs met, you'll find chairs that move, beautiful wide open spaces," Superintendent Kadee Anstadt said.
