JMB man gets jail till death in Sylhet 293 SYLHET, Dec 13, 2020 (BSS) – A court here today sentenced a member of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to imprisonment till natural death in a case filed over a series of bomb blasts in the city’s Kadamtali Bus Terminal area on August 17, 2005. Additional Metropolitan Magistrate of Sylhet Mominun Nessa Khanam pronounced the verdict, sentencing JMB man Abdul Aziz Hanif to imprisonment till natural death, Mohammed Jubayer Bakht, assistant public prosecutor of the court confirmed. According to the prosecution, on August 17 in 2005, as part of the countrywide series of bomb blasts by JMB, bombs went off in 13 places of Sylhet district including the bus terminal, Sylhet court and other important places.
