The search is on for Miss Hemisphere Guam, according to Rose McAfee, co-chair of the pageant. Women 18 to 39 years old can apply to compete for the July 5 beauty pageant at Hyatt Regency Guam.
The Guam Hemisphere winner will receive $10,000 worth of cash and prizes, according to competition Co-Chairman Hiroe Ross.
This year s pageant differs from previous years in that contestants are asked to present a flowered hairpiece to complement their gown for the Beauties in Paradise theme, which replaces the national costume.
The Edo State Government Task Force on COVID-19 has intensified monitoring in eateries and shopping malls across Benin City as a way of ensuring compliance with the pandemic prevention protocols.
