4.2 quake 29 Apr 3:22 am (GMT -5)
A magnitude 4.2 earthquake near Matias Romero, Matías Romero Avendaño, Oaxaca, Mexico, was reported 35 minutes ago by Mexico s National Seismological Service (SSN), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in Mexico. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 27 km beneath the epicenter early morning on Thursday 29 April 2021 at 3:22 am local time. Magnitude and other quake parameters can still change in the coming hours as the agency continues to process seismic data.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.2 earthquake as well.

The earthquake hit in the afternoon on Thursday 29 April 2021 at 4:26 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
