Mohomad Fares, former owner of the Kabab King food truck, is leaving the food truck behind and upgrading his selling of authentic Mediterranean food into a restaurant and market at 1609 E. 10th St. He s also partnered with Yasin Alderani, 67, in this next venture who is originally from Syria. “Sioux Falls doesn’t have this kind of restaurant. We’re going to serve them from our heart,” Fares said. The Kabab King Restaurant & Market, opened Monday at 10 a.m. and afterwards will operate 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. everyday, according to Fares.
